It’s important that we are a good fit for each other so let me explain a little about how I work.
While I am based in Cumbria I’m more than happy to travel if you want to work with me.
My goal is to make you feel totally comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera.
I want you to enjoy every minute of the day that you have spent so much time planning , it’s your wedding day not my photoshoot.
Believe me, I understand the assignment and for most of your day I will be hiding in plain sight, quietly capturing you and your guests having the time of your life on your wedding day.
I will be there from before you start getting ready until the party gets going at night. The details and all the little touches that you have thought about for months are important to you and to me.
Of course most families like to have group shots and we can definitely do those and we need a little window of time to get you both together for couple shots but that doesn’t have to be daunting.
See it as a time for you to grab a few quiet moments together, breathe, and just take in the day, it will be totally relaxed I promise you.
What I want to give you is a full gallery of memories both big and small that tell the story of your day with your people. I want you to be able to look back at your photos and be transported back to not only how it all looked but more importantly how it felt.
I want to capture all of your truest unplanned moments celebrating the uniqueness of you and your wedding and leave you with your own story told with heart and soul. Love is absolutely love to me.
Oh, and you definitely get bonus points if your dog gets involved in the day, I’m totally here for your furbabies and having a dog as a ring bearer is on my bucket list!
If you’d like to chat about your plans I’d love to hear them.
Anna was great. She worked really hard before our wedding, meeting with us to find out exactly what we wanted and what the day would involve and then putting time into researching the venue to make sure she was prepared for the day.
She was brilliant at the wedding, working a long day and capturing great memories. The photos are beautiful. Overall I’d throughly recommend Anna’s services.
I live in Cumbria (The Lake District) however I work in the North of England, Scotland and I love getting home to Northern Ireland so will always cover there. All locations considered.
Filling out a contact form gets the ball rolling. Then we can set up a coffee date or zoom so we can chat some more.
It’s important that we click… no pun intended. If we don’t that’s totally ok, you’re making one of the most important decisions and it needs to be right for us both.
Assuming we’ve chatted already, to secure the date I need a signed contract and a non-refundable booking fee of £250. As soon as I receive these 2 things, the date goes in the calendar (which makes us official!)
This very much depends on the size of your event (wedding) and how long I am there. I don’t like to put a figure on it as every wedding is different and where one might yield 400 images another there might be over 1000. Expect a few.
Absolutely. Both public liability and professional indemnity.
Yes you certainly can as you receive the digital files however I always recommend ordering any prints via myself as then you get a professional finish with correct colour representation.
Not really. In technical terms, you have a licence.
In everyday terms, this means you’re free to print and share your photographs as you see fit, but as the full copyright is retained by me, you can’t sell, modify or enter the photographs in competitions.
This depends on how busy I am but am currently working on a lead time between 4-6 weeks. You will however get a sneak peek of a few quite quickly after the day.
I really appreciate it if you can. It’s a long day and some form of warm food goes a long way. That said, I have no diva demands so if it’s not possible I fully understand. I’m vegetarian, in case you need to know 😉
Yes. If you haven’t chosen a package that already includes an album and then decide you would like one, that is not a problem. I only work with the very best of suppliers and their products are absolutely stunning.
